Astorflex is an Italy based company that is producing footwear since 1816. The company was founded by Travenzoli family in an Italian village called Castel d’Ario. The Travenzoli family inherits over 200 years of footwear heritage spanning six generations. Astorflex is following echo-friendly approach in their production even before it was a thing to talk about.
The Astorflex shoes are made out of vegetable tanned leather imported from best tanneries of Tuscany. First the leather is left, in a mixture of water, oak bark, and powdered mimosa, to age for 30 days. Then brushed finely to turn into high-quality breathable suede and coupled with undyed leather lining that is supremely comfortable and built to last. The crepe soles use natural gum made from the sap of Brazilian para rubber tree. Because it is raw rubber, it is very cushioning and it boasts outstanding comfort due to the fine details. The insoles are made of cork that provides lightweight and soft footbed. All held together using water based adhesives.
The eco-friendly production approach and the careful handmade details make Astorflex shoes authentic, highly desirable. and best value for the money.
